Product Description
Touchstone™ Stone Enhancer is a no-sheen
penetrating sealer formulated to darken, enrich and highlight the character
and beauty of unsealed low-porosity natural stone. It rejuvenates the color
and improves the appearance of worn and weathered dense stone. It may also
be used as a pre-grouting sealer over clean stone surfaces a minimum of
2 hours prior to grouting. It allow s moisture-vapor transmission. It also
effectively darkens the color of grout joints.
Basic Uses:
- Recommended for use on all natural stone where a natural look is desired.
- Equally
effective for interior and exterior applications.
Limitations:
- Do not allow sealer to come in contact with any non-recommended surface
- If
sealer is not wiped completely dry within 5 minutes, a residue may
form
- Keep floor surfaces dry and clean to reduce possibility of slip-fall
accidents
Technical Data
Cure Time:
- Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats.
- Ready for surface traffic
in 2 hours.
- Keep area dry for 12 hours.
- Achieves a full cure in 72 hours.
- After two hours conduct a test to determine if surface is completely
sealed by applying water droplets to the surface. If water is absorbed,
apply an additional coat. Wait 2 hours and repeat
the test
Application
General Instructions
- Read entire label before using
- TEST A SMALL AREA according
to application instructions, with a 24-hour cure time to determine
results. Test for water and stain repellency
using likely contaminants.
- For new installations, sealer can be
applied 72 hours after grouting.
- Surface must be clean, dry and free
of existing sealers or coatings.
- Apply 1 to 3 coats using white cotton
towels, paint pad or natural-bristle brush and rub enhancer into
the surface.
- Using absorbent white cotton towels, polish dry any sealer
that does not penetrate into the stone within 5 minutes of application.
- Some
porous surfaces may require additional coats after full cure.
Surface Preparation & Use:
Expected wear will depend on hardness and texture of surface, type of
area, surface wear, frequency and type of maintenance products used. The
expected wear is up to 3 years. Weather conditions, harsh cleaning methods
and high-alkaline or solvent-based cleaners will affect wear.
Coverage:
Approximately 2,000 to 3,500 sq. ft. (185m2 to 325m2)
per coat per gallon (3.875L), depending on type of stone, porosity and texture
of surface, temperature, humidity and method of application.

Packaging
Touchstone™ Stone Enhancer is available in pints, quarts, gallons and
5-gallon pails.
Storage
Close container after each use. Store in original container only. Store
and use in temperatures between 40°F and 100°F. Unused, stored product
is freeze-thaw stable. Dispose of residue or any unused leftover product
in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Warranty
This product’s warranty is limited to replacement of defective material
and freight charges to destination only. Bonstone Materials Corp. is not
responsible for consequential damages.

- Use in well ventilated areas
- Avoid prolonged skin contact
- Wear organic vapor respirator, solvent-resistant
gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing.
- IF INGESTED: Do not
induce vomiting. Drink 1 to 2 glasses of water. Call physician immediately.
- EYE
CONTACT: Flush with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
- SKIN
CONTACT: Wash immediately with soap and water. If irritation persists,
seek medical attention.
- INHALATION: Relocate to fresh air. If symptoms
persists, seek medical attention.
